Violetta E. (Hamilton) Shoaff Obituary (1927

Violetta E. Shoaff Brighton Township, formerly of Big Beaver Violetta E. Shoaff, 88, of Friendship Ridge, formerly of Big Beaver, died Wednesday, December 16, 2015 in Friendship Ridge. Born February 27, 1927 in Eastvale, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Erma Sheppard Hamilton. She was a homemaker. While growing up in Eastvale, she had been active in the Eastvale Reformed Presbyterian Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas "Gene" Shoaff, a brother and sister-in-law, Richard "Dick" and Kathy Hamilton, and a sister, Lois Dolenak. She is survived by three sons and two daughters-in-law, Gary and Mona Shoaff, Aliquippa, Kevin and Karen Shoaff, Chippewa Township, Tim Shoaff, Big Beaver, four granddaughters and their spouses, Jennifer and Jason Forth, Kim and Augie Schmitt, Calista and Kevin Harty, Jaime Revay, six great-grandchildren, Jonathan, Jared, Lance, Jon, Robert, and Trevor. Friends will be received Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the Hill & Kunselman Funeral Home, www.hillandkunselman.com., 3801 Fourth Ave., College Hill, Beaver Falls, and on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at 11 a.m. with Rev. C.F. Hoffman officiating. Interment will follow in Concord Cemetery, North Sewickley Township. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made, if desired to Beaver County Humane Society, 3394 Brodhead Road, Aliquippa, PA 15001. The family would like to thank Friendship Ridge and her caretakers on 2 Main, and the Physical Therapy Department for all of their loving care and support.
