Sheryl R (Snyder) Rimbey Obituary (1923

Sheryl R ( Snyder) Rimbey, 93, of Elmcroft Senior Living Community, Chippewa, Formerly of White Township, Beaver Falls, PA passed away on January 11,2017. Sheryl was born January 25, 1923 in Slippery Rock Township, Butler County the daughter of Royal (Red) Snyder and Mabel (Cooper) Snyder. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her Husband and dance partner Donald K. Rimbey and a Brother Charles "Wayne" Snyder A graduate of Beaver Falls High School, she was one on the founding members of the "Mothers Club" in the 1950s serving the Steffen Hill School in White Township. She and Don spent 67 years together playing cards, dominoes and Square Dancing with groups like the "Happy Bunch" from Beaver County. Sheryl worked at the pants factory and worked for many years for Cappys Cleaners both in Beaver Falls. She is survived by two sons and daughters in law, Donald W. (Betty) Rimbey, Moon Twp.; and Robert A ( Karen) Rimbey, Chippewa Twp.; three grandchildren Darrin Rimbey , Jocelyn (Kyle) Sacks, and Ryan Rimbey; four sisters, Juanita ( John ) Kast of Florida, Florence "Slim". Johnston, Beaver Falls, Willa Jo "Billie" Landsbach, Chippewa Twp.; and Esta ( Chuck ) Weiss of Mars, PA Friends will be received Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Hill & Kunselman Funeral Home, www.hillandkunselman.com, 3801-4th Avenue, College Hill, Beaver Falls, PA 15010; where a service will be held Saturday at 10:00 AM with Rev. Jeff Youell, chaplain of Grane Hospice, officiating. Entombment will follow in the Beaver Falls Mausoleum, Chippewa Twp. The family would like to thank the entire Staff of Elmcroft Senior Living Community of Chippewa for their kind care given to Sheryl over the past three years as well as the staff of Grane Hospice for their comfort care over the past few weeks, and Cherie Grunzke, a guardian angel, for her frequent visitations. A Special thanks to Aunt Esta Weiss for her dedication of time and caring for her older sister.
