(William) Scott Harn Obituary (1975

(William) Scott Harn (47), loving husband and father passed away unexpectedly on May 18, 2022. He joined his Dad, and Aunt Dot, while leaving behind his wife Kriszta, his daughter Lilien, his mother, Sylvia Harn and many other mourning family members and friends. Scott grew up in West Mayfield as the third child of John and Sylvia Harn, brother of Cindy and John. He had cherished memories of his childhood, he often talked about the woods around, where he spent most of his time wandering and observing nature. He took over delivering the newspaper at a young age, he became a member of the West Mayfield Volunteer Fire Department as a teenager, and he participated in Emergency Management. After his motorcycle accident landed him in a wheelchair for the rest of his life at 17, he completed his GED and later graduated with high honors from CCBC in 2005 and Penn State in 2007. Once a high school dropout (his words), he worked full-time for the same company since 2008 as a software engineer. He met Kriszta in 2005, just celebrating 15 years of marriage a week ago. His daughter, Lilien, whom he loved more than life itself, was born in 2020. We know Scott as someone you could always count on - unless you needed to be on time... :) He loved stargazing and driving around "aimlessly" just enjoying the breeze, the sun, the view. His extremely acute sense of smell made him such a great cook - he truly enjoyed preparing delicious dishes for his loved ones. He was a prankster with an exquisite (and dark) sense of humor. His element was water - true Pisces (though let's not forget his MtDew which his daughter refers to as "Dada's water" :)) Scott's unstoppable strive for perfection would often drive a lot of us crazy :) but his attention to detail made him excel. He was a workaholic, but his loyalty to his family and friends was even stronger. He was a listener, helper, mentor to so many people throughout his life. Wish you were here.
