Ruth "Nonie" "Grandma" Beaver Obituary (1935

Ruth "Nonie" "Grandma" Beaver, 78, formerly of Beaver Falls passed away Friday, November 29, 2013 after a courageous battle with cancer. Born April 5, 1935, in Beaver Falls, she was a daughter of the late Howard and Anna Marie (Brickner) Jewell. She was a retired Crossing Guard for the Big Beaver Falls School District and a former bartender at Michael's Tavern in Beaver Falls for 30 years. She is survived by two daughters and son-in-laws, Bonnie and Charles Novak, Beaver Falls and Nancy and Michael Pucci, New Sewickley Twp.; four grandchildren and their spouses, Cassie and Glenn Dillinger, Christopher and Bugg Goe, Kelli and John Walter and Ashley Goe; nine great grandchildren, Lucas Dillinger, Gabby, Victoria and Mackenzie Javens, Leila, Lillian and Porky Ruckert and Ryder and Rowan Goe; a brother, Howard Jewell and a sister, Jeannette Rice both of New Brighton; numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. She was the adopted "Grandma" to many friends and families over the years. She was preceded in death by a loving companion, David Ballard and a brother, George Jewell. Friends will be received Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the HILL AND KUNSELMAN FUNERAL HOME, www.hillandkunselman.com , 3801 Fourth Avenue, College Hill, Beaver Falls.
