O. Annette McAdoo

–

Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania

Ona Annette McAdoo, age 94, of Beaver Falls, PA, passed away Sunday, September 27, 2026, at Good Samaritan Hospice House in Wexford, PA.
She was born April 25, 1932, in North East, PA, the daughter of Haskell E. and Ruth M. (Farver) Miller.
Annette was a graduate of North East High School, where she met her high school sweetheart and lifelong partner, Edwin R. McAdoo. The next year after graduating, they were married on September 1, 1951 and spent the next few years in North East before moving to Beaver Falls for Edwin’s job. This is where they established their roots, started their family, and Annette took on the very important role of homemaker. Once retired, Edwin and Annette became snowbirds by establishing additional roots in Dade City, FL where they spent many enjoyable winters with new friends away from the cold PA weather.
Annette touched so many lives with her kindness, generosity, and willingness to help anyone. She enjoyed the many family vacations spent traveling and camping around the country, participating in her bowling leagues, the shopping trips that included lunch with friends, and most of all spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed and forever loved and remembered.
Annette was a member at the New Brighton Church of the Nazarene.
She is survived by four children, John R. McAdoo and his late wife, Joyce of Beaver Falls, PA, Ronald C. McAdoo and his wife Nancy of Poinciana, FL, Cheryl L. Bedilion and her husband Rick of Beaver Falls, PA, and Brian J. McAdoo and his wife Michele of Cranberry Township, PA; ten grandchildren, Jonelle Zinsmaster, Janna McAdoo, David McAdoo, Scott McAdoo, Kristen McAdoo, Alexa Mercure, Melissa Mercure, Ryan Mercure, Emily McAdoo, and Katie McAdoo; seven great grandchildren, Taylor Thomas, Keira Mercure, Brian Zinsmaster, Landon Zinsmaster, Malia Mercure, Garrett McAdoo, Scotland McAdoo; and one great-great grandchild, Cameron Akins.
She was the last member of her generation having been preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Edwin R. McAdoo, who passed away July 2, 2016; two children, James E. McAdoo, who passed away December 13, 1954, Larry A. McAdoo, who passed away December 6, 1965; two brothers: Elwood Miller, Robert Miller, and two sisters Ruth Mary Lutz, Barbara Sweet.
