Nancy L. (Castellan) Grubb Obituary (1937

Nancy L. Grubb Big Beaver Nancy L. Grubb, 79, of Big Beaver, died unexpectedly on December 30, 2016. Born January 12, 1937 in Moon Township, she was the daughter of the late Attilio and Susan Gilida Castellan. She was a member of St. Monica Parish, had taught CCD at St. Mary Catholic Church, and had been a member of the Christian Mothers. She had been employed at Head Start in North Sewickley Township. She was preceded in death by her husband, James W. Grubb in 2010, an infant son, David Allen Grubb, a granddaughter, Randy Allison, and a sister, Priscilla Bayer. She is survived by her four children, William "Bill" and Sandy Grubb, Mims, FL, Susan Grubb, Michael Grubb, and Jason Grubb, all of Big Beaver, four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, a brother and sister-in-law, James and Catherine Castellan, Hanover, MD, two brothers-in-law and a sister-in-law, Daniel Bayer, McMurray, and Gary and Mary Thomas, Mannington, WV. Friends will be received Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the Hill & Kunselman Funeral Home., www.hillandkunselman.com. 3801 Fourth Ave., College Hill, Beaver Falls, where prayers will be recited Wednesday at 9:20 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Monica Church, Chippewa Campus, with Father Kim Schreck as celebrant. Private interment will follow in Clinton Cemetery, Wampum. The family would like to thank Life Beaver for all of their support.
