Mildred J. (Eddy) Tomko Obituary (1920

Mildred J. "Millie" Tomko, of Sayre Christian Village, Lexington, KY, formerly of Brighton Twp. and Beaver Falls, died Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2014 on her 94th birthday in Lexington, KY. She was a kind, loving and caring person. Born February 18, 1920 in Toronto, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late John and Bertha Metcalf Eddy. She had been an employee of the former City Market in Beaver Falls. She had attended the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church in Beaver and the Chippewa United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Timothy Tomko, an infant grandson Jordan Stephen Tomko, a brother Brayton Eddy, and a sister Kathryn Steele. She is survived by her husband of 68 years Stephen A. Tomko, a son Greg (Carol) Tomko, Lexington, KY, a daughter Gretchen Tomko, Tulsa, OK, a daughter in-law Meg Tomko, of Freedom, four grandchildren, Michael (Helena) Tomko, Havertown, PA, Carrie (Andrew) Knight, Birmingham, AL, Lauren (Kris) Marshall, Wexford and Madelyn Tomko, Freedom and three great grand-children. Friends will be received on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Hill & Kunselman Funeral Home, www.hillandkunselman.com., 3801-Fourth Ave., College Hill, Beaver Falls, where the service will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. with Rev. Rod Smith officiating. Interment will be in Sylvania Hills Cemetery, Daugherty Twp.
