Mildred C. "Millie" Blum Obituary (1926

Mildred C. "Millie" Blum, 85, of Chippewa Township, died Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2012 in Heritage Valley Beaver. Born Dec. 14, 1926 in North Sewickley Township, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Minnie Shaffer Caldwell. She was a member of the Chippewa United Methodist Church. She had been employed at the former Keystone Bakery in Bridgewater and also at the Chippewa K-Mart where she had been a sales associate. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Gary W. Blum, a sister Mary Ellen Park, and two brothers, Robert Caldwell and C. Lee Caldwell. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and Robert Gardner, Greensburg, PA, a son and daughter-in-law, Dennis and Janet Blum, Hanover, PA, a daughter-in-law, Nancy Blum, Patterson Township, seven grandchildren and their spouses, David and Emily Gardner, Strongsville, OH, Jason Gardner, Verona, Wisc., Aaron and Beth Blum, South Beaver Township, Cheryl and Ted Zeljak, State College, PA, Lauren Blum, Patterson Township, Brian and Katie Blum, Hanover, PA, and four great-grandchildren, Megan Gardner, Noah Zeljak, and Millie and Nora Blum. Friends will be received Friday from 2 until 8 p.m. in the Hill & Kunselman Funeral Home, www.hillandkunselman.com., 3801-4th Ave., College Hill, Beaver Falls. The funeral service will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m. in the Chippewa United Methodist Church, 2545 Darlington Road, Chippewa Township, with Rev. Chris Morgan, of Christ United Methodist Church officiating. Private burial in Sylvania Hills Cemetery, Daugherty Township.
