Mildred A (Beatty) Atcheson Obituary (1924

Mildred A. Atcheson, 88, of Beaver, passed away on Tuesday, August 20, 2013 in Friendship Ridge Born October 1, 1924 in Beaver Falls, she was the daughter of the late John and Minnie Morehead Beatty and the step-daughter of the late Ben Borghi. She was a member of the College Hill United Methodist Church and been in the choir and the former financial secretary. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Robert Thatcher, Robert Dunlap, Ira Atcheson, a brother John Beatty, a sister Jessie Cory, and a son-in-law, Charles D'Alessandro. She is survived by her seven children and their spouses, Ronald and Marcia Thatcher, Mears, MI, Catherine and John Lehi, East Palestine, OH, Corinne Thatcher D'Alessandro, Beaver, Robert and Mary Lou Thatcher, Grandy, NC, Renee Thatcher Sankey, Beaver, Jeff and Heather Dunlap, Seattle, WA, her step-son James and Diane Dunlap, Scottsdale, AZ, nine grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and her cat Mr. Kitty. The family would like to thank the staff of Life Beaver and especially Dr. George Brett and Dr. Laura Mantine for their superb care and support for Mildred. And a special thank you to Cathy Reeher for her special care and love. Friends will be received on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the Hill & Kunselman Funeral Home, www.hillandkunselman.com., 3801-Fourth Ave., College Hill, where the service will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. with her pastor, Rev. Larry A. Reitz officiating. Private interment in the Beaver Falls Cemetery.
