Mary V. (Uboldi) Paswell Obituary (1926

Mary V. (Uboldi) Paswell New Galilee Mary V. (Uboldi) Paswell, 90, of New Galilee, passed away peacefully at Trinity Oaks Personal Care Home on Wednesday, July 12, 2017. Born September 26, 1926 in New Galilee, she was the daughter of the late Cosmo and Vittoria Cairioli Uboldi. She was known as Mother Mary to many. She had been a member of the former St. Ann Catholic Parish in New Galilee, St. Rose of Lima Catholic Parish in Darlington, and was currently a member of St. Monica Parish in Chippewa Township. Mary and her late husband Russ had been owners of several businesses after Russ's retirement from U.S. Steel. The had owned and operated Darlington Beer Distributing, Paswell's Mini Market, and lastly Brownie's Inn. Mary was known for her delicious fish sandwiches and one of her specialties was her pizzelles. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Russell J. Paswell in 1985, and a brother and sister-in-law, Sam and Mona Uboldi. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Russell and Patty Paswell, White Township, a daughter, Mary Jo "Jo Jo" Paswell, South Beaver Township, two granddaughters, Sheila and her husband Shawn Haswell, and Shelly Paswell and her fiance James Cannon, all of Beaver Falls, two great-grandsons, Noah R. Haswell, Mason Cannon, a brother and sister-in-law, Val and Erma Uboldi, Erie, PA, and many loving nieces and nephews. Friends and family will be received Friday from 3 until 8 p.m. in the Hill & Kunselman Funeral Home, www.hillandkunselman.com., 3801 Fourth Ave., College Hill, Beaver Falls. There will be an additional visitation in the funeral home on Saturday from 9 a.m. until the Blessing service at 10:30 a.m. with Father Bill Schwartz officiating. Private interment will be in Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Ellwood City. Mary's family extends their sincere gratitude to the entire staff and residents of Trinity Oaks Personal Care home in Beaver, and also the staff of Gateway Hospice, Pittsburgh, for their excellent care, love, and support. Mary was treated with respect, compassion, and dignity. As per Mary's wishes, please do not send flowers.
