Luella (Garber) Omogrosso Obituary (1923

J. "Luella" (Garber) Omogrosso, 93, a lifelong resident of Beaver Falls passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2016 in Providence Care Center. Born January 10, 1923 in Darlington, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Margaret (Nowery) Garber. She was a member of New Brighton Christian Assembly. When she was younger and in better health she was a member of the College Hill Women's Club, attended the Women's Bible Study at the Reformed Presbyterian Church of Eastvale and the Full Gospel Businessmen's Fellowship. In the early 1970's she was a Nurse's Aide at the former Beaver Valley Geriatric Center. After leaving there she was a salesperson for the former Fleisher's Hat and Jewelry Boutique in Beaver Falls. Luella was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Omogrosso in 2006; two brothers, Henry and John Garber and a sister, Grace Wallace. Luella is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Harry "Terry" and Teri Omogrosso, Chippewa Twp.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Peggy and Oliver Mihm, Chippewa Twp. and Becky and Mark Price, VA; five grandchildren and their spouses, Amy Scheer, Micah Price, Johnathan Price, Leah Boyle and Brian Omogrosso; four great grandchildren, Simon & Theo Scheer and Patricia & Taylor Mihm; three step grandchildren, Thomas, Rachel and Rebecca Mihm and six great great grandchildren. Friends will be received Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. in the HILL AND KUNSELMAN FUNERAL HOME, www.hillandkunselman.com , 3801 Fourth Avenue, College Hill, Beaver Falls, where a brief funeral service will be held Friday at 8:00 p.m. Pastor Samuel DeMarco will be officiating. Private interment will be in Grandview Cemetery, Big Beaver Boro.
