Lu Dawn Kinnunen, 94, of Monroeville, formerly of Baden, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 7, 2023, at Concordia of Monroeville. Born on June 24, 1929, in the town of Vermont, Wisconsin, she was the daughter of the late Leonard and Elizabeth Jenni Tollefson.Lu Dawn had an impressive career that spanned various positions. She served as a tour guide, educator and volunteer at Old Economy Village, where she shared her extensive knowledge of textiles and love for history with visitors from all walks of life. Additionally, she generously volunteered her time at Contact Beaver Valley, making an impact on the lives of those in need. She was a very active member of the congregation, serving as a member of the Lutheran Church Women and Sunday School teacher.
