Joseph Henry Trzcinski Obituary (1949

Joseph Henry Trzcinski Formerly of Eastvale Joseph Henry Trzcinski, 69, of Beaver Falls, formerly of Eastvale, died Thursday, October 18, 2018 in the Providence Care Center. Born March 19, 1949 in Beaver Falls, he was the son of the late Henry "Hoover" and Josephine Trzcinski. He had been a member of the former Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church in Beaver Falls and a graduate of Beaver Falls High School, Class of 1967. He received a degree in Metallurgical Engineering from the Community College of Beaver County. He had retired from Republic Steel in Beaver Falls where he had been an inspector, and went back to school for culinary arts. He had been a member of USWA Local 1869 and served on the grievance committee. Joe had previously been active in the community; having served as the Mayor or Eastvale, was involved with both the Democratic Committee and Labor Council of Beaver County. When the steel industry was hit hard in the 1980's, he had been very active in starting the United Way Food Bank in Bridgewater to support local families. In that same time period, he and Paul Deppenbrook had tried vigorously to get Saturn to build their automobile plant here in Beaver County. Joe was an avid gardener and hunter, but loved to fish. He is survived by a son, Joseph J. Trzcinski, Patterson Township, a daughter, Courtney Coleman, Homestead, PA, five grandchildren, Jake and A.J. Trzcinski, Evan, Emaya, and Endia Coleman, two sisters, Carol McKim and Susan Dean, his former wife, Frances Verner Trzcinski, and long time friend and caregiver Paul Deppenbrook. As per his wishes there will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held at a future date. Interment will be private.
