Daniel Thellman

Daniel G. Thellman, 64, of Koppel, died Monday, Jan. 28, 2008 in his home.
Born Oct. 7, 1943 in Beaver Falls, he was the son of the late Daniel J. and Rebecca Huffman Thellman. He was a member of the Koppel United Methodist Church, had been employed at the former Babcock & Wilcox Tubular Products Company, Hot Finish Department. He then was employed by the Boro of Koppel until his retirement. He belonged to the I.M.B.S. Club in Koppel, the Beaver Falls Owls Club, was a former chief of the Koppel Volunteer Fire Department, had coached Little League in the the Koppel Baseball program, and enjoyed fishing for walleye in Lake Erie.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Jean M. Goehring Thellman, a son and daughter-in-law, Jeffery and Debbie Thellman, Chippewa Township, two daughters and sons-in-law, Kimberly and Glenn McDougal, Hanover Township, Marci and George Groff, Myrtle Beach, SC. Pap will be missed by his six grandchildren, Austin, Aidan, and Savannah Thellman, Kaitlin and Jacob McDougal, and Jordan Groff. He is also survived by a brother, Ronald Thellman, Koppel and his fiance Rosemary Macuga, a sister and brother-in-law, Jill and Darl Romanoski, Koppel, and his step-mother Marge Thellman, East Palestine, OH.
A private visitation will be held in the Hill & Kunselman Funeral Home, www.hillandkunselman.com., College Hill, Beaver Falls for the family.
The funeral service will be private with the Rev. Gregory Cox, pastor of the College United Methodist Church officiating.
Interment to follow in Clinton Cemetery, North Beaver Township, Lawrence County.
