Celia J. (Willard) McKim, 80, died Saturday, June 17, 2017 in Heritage Valley Beaver.
Born May 10, 1937 in Paoli, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Thelma Collier Willard. She was a very active member of Christ's Evangelical Lutheran Church, the Altar Guild, bell choir, a member of women of the E.L.C.A., and chairperson of the annual Juried art show at the church, Big Beaver Art Group, and the Red Hat Society. She had previously been employed at Bell Telephone Company and Babcock and Wilcox Tubular Products Company.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William A. McKim in 2011, and a son William Brian McKim in 1984.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Burt and Kim McKim, Sharpsburg, GA, a daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Gene Vallecorsa, Big Beaver, two grandchildren, Angela and Brandon Merrick and Jonathan Vallecorsa and his fiancee Gina, five great-grandchildren, Brandon, Jr., Bryce, Jack, Alex, and Sofia, three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Harold Lee and Leahrae Willard, Leonardtown, MD, John Warren Willard, Daytona Beach, FL, Joseph Omer and Shereen Willard, Leonardtown, MD.
Friends will be received Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. and also on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the Hill & Kunselman Funeral Home, www.hillandkunselman.com., 3801 Fourth Ave., College Hill, Beaver Falls. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. in Christ's Evangelical Lutheran Church with her pastor, Rev. Kim Rapczak officiating. Interment will follow in Grandview Cemetery, Big Beaver.
