Bessie B. Robinson

Bessie B. Robinson, 90, of the Providence Care Center, died Tuesday, June 22, 2010 in Heritage Valley Beaver.
Born Oct. 19, 1919 in Beaver Falls, she was the daughter of the late Gernard and Grace Hayden Bryan. She had been employed at various retail stores before her retirement. Bessie used to sing with the Lew Farrell Band and had been employed for the Head Start Program.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Melvin Stanley Robinson in 1972 and her son-in-law Bruce DePree in 2008.
She is survived by her daughter Phyllis DePree, Greenville, PA, a grandson and his wife, Todd E. and Michelle DePree, Jamestown, PA, a granddaughter and her husband, Kelly E. and Greg Goehring, Greenville, PA, and six great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received Friday from 5 p.m. until the time of the service at 7 p.m. in the Hill and Kunselman Funeral Home, www.hillandkunselman.com., 3801-4th Ave., College Hill, Beaver Falls, with the Rev. Gregory Cox, pastor of the College Hill United Methodist Church officiating.
