Adelia "Dell" Ritz Obituary (1911

Adelia M. 'Dell' Ritz Adelia M. "Dell" Ritz, 95, of New Galilee, died Tuesday, March 27, 2007, in the Beaver Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born October 13, 1911, in Millrock, Ohio, a daughter of the late Angelo and Marietta Zanetti Zaffaroni, she had resided in New Galilee for the past 90 years. She had been a longtime member of the former St. Ann's Roman Catholic Church in New Galilee, and is now a member of St. Rose of Lima Roman Catholic Church in Darlington, Pa. She was a very loving and compassionate wife, mother, grandmother, great-grand-mother, and sister who will be dearly missed. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel A. Ritz in 1990; five sisters, Julia Ferrigno, Elvira Franchi, Angelina Canavesi, Lena Fusetti, and Rose DeCianna. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Ronald A. and Sonia Ritz, New Galilee, with whom she resided; her grandchildren, Lori and Rick Ellis, and Amy and Victor Yarosz, all of East Palestine, and Tony and Sarah Ritz, Chippewa Township; her step-grandchildren, Heather and Rick Wass, Big Beaver; Heidi and Steven Modro, Koppel; her great-grandchildren, Alexis and Andy Ellis, and Sam and Nick Yarosz; her step-great-grandchildren, Caitlin, Ricky, and Dirk Wass, and Miranda, Macey, and Morgan Modro, and a brother, Felix "Lefty" Zaffaroni, of Darlington Township. Friends will be received Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. in the HILL & KUNSELMAN FUNERAL HOME, www.hillandkunsel man.com, 3801 Fourth Ave., College Hill, Beaver Falls, where prayers will be recited on Friday at 9:15 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. in St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, with Father James B. Krah, as celebrant, officiating. Interment will follow in Grandview Cemetery, Big Beaver.
